   Dear Deirdre,

Your response is very hurtful and contains falsehoods. However, if you
choose to believe those falsehoods about me, that is your prerogative. But,
I am surprised and still hurt by the response that is written, and a bit
worried that we are adapting a "1984" big brother approach to monitoring
   people so closely.

I thought the FBI or other organizations were banned from doing this based
on the abuses of the 1970's in U.S. from doing this type of thing. Also, in
regards to putting words in "..", quotes, for effect, I feel sorry for you.

It is too bad you feel that you have to monitor me as in my life I have
played many parts, helping in the 1976 bicentennial celebration play, and in
other areas (education, health care, medical research, helping out as a
medical researcher during operations desert storm and desert shield, helping
the secret service apprehend a terrorist).

It is has been awhile since I surfed the internet regularly, due to my
father's death in 2000 and the depression that followed, it has been this
year that I have been able to get close to my normal pre 2000 surfing
activity. I'm sad that the internet has turned hurtful in this way, and that
it is ok to spy on others, spread half truths, and write hurtfully.

As you can see by this post, it is late at night, I read this post about 4
hours ago, and it still bothers me to think that this is new attitude of the
internet -- I feel sorry this is so, we should be hurtful to each, but not
   constructive and helpful.

Maybe, since 2001, people have allowed big brother to take over the US and
UK because of fear, but it is not the right path in the long run. If you
have cable, there is program on the discovery channel by Ted Koppel about
balancing freedom and security this Sunday at 8 p.m. E.T., 7p.m. central (my
time) -- you might want to watch. Your response has answered some questions
I had in mind, and I am sad to find that answer.

I wish everyone well, and have always tried to live according to my
Christian beliefs and beliefs in Freedom of the founding fathers of the U.S.

   Good Bye.
