Suburban L.A.
The team of Mulder, Scully, Condor, and Belinda along with L.A.'s FBI rapid
response team are moving in to the Al-Queda sleeper cell. The date is
September 11th, five years to the day. It is early in the morning, the sun has
begun to rise.
The two teams are working on a two trust attack, one to attack the main
sleeper cell and the other to attack the biological warfare area. Through
their informant, they have been able to find out that there will be two points
of attack, LAX and a weather
balloon launch that will spread bio particles throughout the atmosphere with a
three day latency period to obtain the maximum infection and exposure.
The Night Before.
The informant was telling Scully why he decided to convert to Christianity and
give up the false teaching of the Al-Queda based Islam.
"Dana, one reason why I changed is that is that in the Al-Queda false
teachings, their prophets teach: Thou Shalt Not Kill Innocents, and in
Christianity it is Thou Shall Not Kill (Period) meaning this applies to
everyone not just innocents," said John,
his new adopted name.
"I have tried to understand the teachings of Islam to better find a way so
that we can work together, but when I go to the bookstore, I see many
different printing of the Koran and the Quran, I do not know which one to
choose. Which one would you
recommend?," asked Dana
"I would recommend..," said John explaining that which version is used is
important. However, it is more important to understand to who is their
prophet, from which they receive their teachings. Not all Muslims believe in
Al-Queda, but Al-Queda is
getting better at recruitment and training and that is where the effort on the
war on terrorism should be directed. We really should work hard to target
those who would be recruited by Al-Queda and recruit them to the true path of
goodness and love."
"I see you point. Also, you a quite a bit a romantic as well," said Dana.
With that John and Dana talked a while longer, and Dana started to understand
more of the good part of the Islamic faith and began to see where we could
find common ground to live in peace and betterment with each other.
Sunrise. Suburban L.A.
A twin engine Cessna like plane takes off with the leader of the al-queda
sleeper cell. Also, his wingman takes off after him in a similar twin engine
Cessna. They both have filed a false flight plan, and start to follow the
false flight plan to avert
arousal or suspicion. Both flights plans are different, but the real flight
plan follow military flying formation.
"Cessna 232, this is LAX you are approaching a prohibited area, change course,
now," said the airport controller.
The Cessna continued it's path in a direct line to the terminal of LAX. At
that point, the controller at LAX needed to make a judgment call, should he
call Miramar for help. A second request to turn back was issued, and not
returned.
"Miramar, this is the controller at LAX, we have a civilian Cessna 232 heading
straight for the terminal area and starting to approach prohibited space, can
you send an interceptor to help?," asked the controller.
"LAX, this Miramar, birds are up, we will take it from here," said the
Military controller.
The lone Cessna 232 continues to approach the terminal area at LAX, and
suddenly his wingman changes from the false flight plan and begins to head
towards another prohibited area by the stadium.
"Miramar, we have two civilian cesna one with transponder 232 and other with
it's transponder off heading towards prohibited fly areas, please advice on
action," said the wing commander.
"Wing commander, this Miramar, you have authority to use deadly force if they
enter prohibited space and do not change course," said the Squadron leader at
Miramar.
"Affirmative," said the wing commander. "Sam, you take the bogey heading for
the stadium, I will take the one heading for LAX," said the wing commander.
"Yes Sir. That is a go.," said the wing man.
The two planes start to diverge to encounter both bogeys.
The Cessna 232 is within a ½ mile of LAX and approaching the terminal at 170
knots. The leader of the al-queda sleeper cell has loaded the plan with tnt to
do a kamikaze type assault on the terminal complex, and the other Cessna is
load with the tnt to
disperse a chemical agent when it impacts the stadium. The other Cessna is
about 3 miles away.
Long Beach.
The third member of the Al-Queda sleeper cell prepares the weather balloon
with an altimeter switch set to go off at 4,000 feet above the city. It
contains a biological agent with a three day latency period. The first FBI
rapid response team is
approaching his hideout, but they are still 20 minutes away from the site.
The second rapid response team arrives at Long Beach airport to find out that
the two Cessna's have taken off and file a false flight plan. By examining the
hangers where the planes were stored, they are able to determine the
biological agent on the
second, and alert authorities so that a treatment plan can be implemented if
needed. The second response team listens on the military channel as Miramar
has sent two interceptors, and they are within striking range.
