   It seems the hosting company I had Ephemeral on has gone under with absolutely   
   no notice.  Even its home page is unreachable.   
      
   To make matters worse, it seems I lost the backups in a system crash and never   
   got them set back up a few months ago.  So, for the time being, Ephemeral is   
   no more.   
      
   But I plan to make this tragedy an opportunity.  I'm planning to quickly   
   rebuild the site on a more modern platform, and get it up as quickly as   
   possible.  Given the low traffic on this group, I will most likely skip the   
   automatic archiving feature    
   Ephemeral had for all those years and focus on being a post-directly fanfic   
   site.     
      
   The saddest news is the loss of the stories that were on Ephemeral when she   
   went down.  I hope I can have the help of the community to bring all your   
   stories back when I can get the site back up.  A sort of fanfic rebirth party?
