   An update was posted to all complete story sites on October 17,   
   2004. This update contains all completed stories received via direct   
   submissions through October 11, 2004 and ATXC/associated lists   
   through September 30, 2004.   
      
   If you submitted a story to Gossamer prior to these dates that has   
   not been archived (and is not a work-in-progress) you can either   
   contact us at help @ gossamer.org to ask about its status, or   
   resubmit the story to submit @ gossamer.org.   
      
   Some e-mail changes were not completed in time for this update.   
   These changes will either be posted in the next few weeks, or with   
   the November update.

   November Update: WiP and Series Audit   
   *********************************************   
      
   As in the past several years, the November update is scheduled to   
   include the results of a works-in-progress and series audit.   
      
   In order to make this audit as successful as possible, we request   
   that all authors who have completed a WiP in the past year check   
   whether that WiP has been archived by Gossamer, and if not, send the   
   completed WiP to submit @ gossamer.org by November 1.   
      
   We also request that all authors of series review the status of   
   their series on Gossamer and make sure that all parts are present   
   and numbered correctly.  If there are parts missing, please send   
   those parts to submit @ gossamer.org by November 1. If parts are   
   numbered incorrectly or you have an unorganized series that you   
   would like numbered, please submit your changes to help @   
   gossamer.org by November 10.   
      
   This would also be a good time for authors to review the stories   
   they have archived at Gossamer and determine if any are missing.   
   Stories sent to submit @ gossamer.org by November 1 will be in the   
   next update.   
      
   Revisions of stories currently on Gossamer should be sent to   
   revisions @ gossamer.org.
