From: susanf34@comcast.net              *NO ARCHIVE*                            Title: Gift Exchange       Author: Susan       E-mail: susanf34@comcast.net       Classification: a little Christmas cheer written       entirely in dialogue       Keywords: UST, humor       Spoiler: very brief reference to Hollywood A.D.       Archive: No archive without permission.       Disclaimer: These characters belong to each other,       not me.              Summary: "So, what do you want for Christmas this       year, Scully?"       ******************************************************              Gift Exchange       by Susan       ~~~~              "So, what do you want for Christmas this year,       Scully?"              "I don't know. I haven't really thought about it."              "Well, I have, and I'm thinkin' big screen TV."              "You're hardly even at your apartment anymore,       Mulder. Why do you need such a large television?"              "Okay then, how about a big screen TV for *your*       place?"              "My place? Now why would I need something like       that?"              "Because I'm there."              "Oh, I see."              "So, what do you think, Scully? Should we take       a technological leap and buy one of those new       flat panel TV's? A 37-inch one would look great       over there in front of that wall."              "You've got to be kidding. Those things can easily       run a few thousand dollars."              "I know they're expensive, but we can afford it,       and besides, I think we deserve to treat ourselves       this year."              "We have been working pretty hard lately."              "And just think how clear 'The Lazarus Bowl' would       look on the big screen, especially if it's high       definition TV."              "Mulder..."              "No, really, it'd be great."              "I still can't believe you bought that on DVD, or       even found a place that sold it, for that matter."              "Amazon.com, Scully. It has it all...unless of       course, you get it on eBay."              "Since when did you become such an expert online       shopper?"              "I've always been an expert. I just haven't       mentioned it to you before."              "So, what other secrets have you been keeping       from me, Mulder?"              "Umm...actually I already have your Christmas       present."              "You went through this whole spiel about big       screen TV's, and you already have my gift?"              "Yes."              "Well, I already have yours too."              "Now who's keeping secrets?"              "I'm not keeping secrets. I'm keeping you guessing."              "Ooo...you're good."              "I don't have to be."              "That's even better. What do you say we go hang up       some mistletoe and make out for awhile?"              "Who says we need mistletoe?"              "I like the way you think, Scully."              "I know."                     ~end~              *Hope you enjoyed reading this fluffy bit of       holiday cheer as much as I enjoyed writing it.:)              possibilities       http://possibilities.bravehost.com/              the bare essentials       http://www.geocities.com/filesfan34/                            [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]                            To post, mail to xfc-ATXC@yahoogroups.com       To subscribe, mail xfc-ATXC-subscribe@yahoogroups.com       To unsubscribe, mail xfc-ATXC-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com       Yahoo!
