   I shouldn't laugh, but... ;)   
      
   Okay.  With whatever writing program you're using, make sure Smart   
   Quotes are turned off.  You can frequently find this in the Tools or   
   Edit section (or Help, in my case ), usually under   
   AutoCorrect/AutoFormat.   
      
   Make sure you save the changes, then save your text as Text(.txt) - but   
   not RTF or rich text format.   
      
   Now, if you're using Windows, open your file with Notepad or Wordpad and   
   add a space between paragraphs.  Gods know it can be a long, long   
   process with large documents.  Don't forget to save frequently!!   
      
   If you're using a Mac, you can do the same thing, but open it   
   with...ugh, I can't remember the name of the program.  :(  You're doing   
   the same thing, in any case.
