   Could it be 'Peaks of Insanity' by XRAE?   
      
   I know there's an older fic that sounds similar, I remember it was one of   
   the ones at gossamer that had really crappy formatting at one time. I keep   
   thinking in it Mulder is standing in the either the door or in front of the   
   window and he's half frozen when Scully tries to pull him back from the edge   
   aka *sex*. I could have sworn it was Sheryl Martin or one of the more   
   well-known authors.
