   Author's notes: The scene when Mulder takes   
   Scully to meet the Lone Gunmen for the first   
   time never fails to make me smile. Frohike   
   with his camera and fingerless gloves, Byers   
   all prim and proper in his suit, Langly's   
   claim that he had breakfast with the guy   
   who shot Kennedy, and Mulder's comment about   
   Barney being the most heinous and evil force   
   of the 20th century. What's not to love?:)   
      
   Summary: Oh, and did I mention that she's hot?

   First Impression

   You like her.   
      
   I wasn't quite sure at first, but you like her.   
      
   I guess I shouldn't be surprised though. I mean,   
   just look at her.   
      
   She's intelligent, feisty, and can hold her own   
   with you which isn't the easiest thing to do.   
      
   Oh, and she's hot. Definitely hot.   
      
   Red hair. Nice skin. And those eyes. God, who   
   wouldn't want to look into those baby blues all   
   day?   
      
   Yeah, you like her, which is why you brought her   
   here. You wanted us to check her out, see if   
   she'd hold up under our scrutiny.   
      
   Well man, I'd say she's holding up just fine.   
      
   Just the fact that she gave Byers a twenty-dollar   
   bill without a moment's hesitation tells me she's   
   quality material.   
      
   A woman that's not afraid to take risks. A woman   
   who wants to fit in with your friends.   
      
   A woman with taste.   
      
   Oh, and did I mention that she's hot?   
      
   Then again, you already know that, don't you?   
      
   It doesn't take a genius to see that not only are   
   you intrigued by her, but you're impressed as well.   
      
   And don't think I didn't notice when you told me   
   to settle down when I commented on her hotness a   
   second time.   
      
   That was definitely guy code for "Back off, buddy,   
   she's mine."   
      
   But you know what?   
      
   That's okay with me.   
      
   If anyone deserves to have someone in his life   
   that he can trust and depend on, it's you, man.   
      
   So, I hope it works out with her, Mulder.   
      
   And who knows?   
      
   Maybe if you actually let her see what a great   
   guy you are, she might be interested in becoming   
   more than just your partner.   
      
   That is, if you don't screw things up.   
      
   Now if you'll excuse me, I just need to take a   
   few more pictures of her from a different angle   
   before she leaves.   
      
   For my own personal collection, of course.
