   If the story has blink lines between paragraphs . . . (this works in Word,   
   if you're using another word processor, copy a paragraph marker and paste   
   it into the search field of search and replace to see what it looks like.)   
      
   1. Search on ^p^p and replace with any character that's not present   
   elsewhere in the file. (^ is the character above the number 6 on your   
   keyboard.)   
      
   2. Search on ^p and replace with nothing. (Leave the replace field blank.)   
      
   3. Search on the character selected in step one, and replace with ^p^p   
   (restores blank lines between paragraphs).   
      
   If the story uses tabs and no blank lines, you should just need to do step   
   2. Experiement with search and replace to determine what's best for each   
   story.   
      
   This process does screw up the headers, and any section dividers like:   
      
   Location   
   Date   
   Time   
      
   But those are easier to manually fix than to manually delete all hard   
   breaks.
