This episode has a real emotional kick to it. Xena's scream when she
discovers that her son is dead still sends a shiver down my spine. And
Callisto's realisation that achieving her longsought revenge hasn't
satisfied her or made her feel happy the way she thought it would
(something her story arc has been working up to from the very first) is
   poignant too.

   Some irritations:
-no mention at all of Velasca or explanation for her absence. There
   really should have been.

-the lack of consistency concerning Callisto's superpowers. If she can
teleport, I don't see how it's possible to cage her in a lava stream or
under a rockfall. This inconsistency occurs in Sacrifice 1/2 as well.
They really should have thought it through.

-Gabrielle and Hope sniffing loudly and frequently at one another.
Someone get those girls a hanky, quick!

-Hope's hair. I know it's only the Callisto Hairdressing Salon (and very
painful the treatment looks too - you just can't get the staff, these
days), but even they would have used conditioner.
