   >>> have so far. ( And maybe
   >>>> even accept a few suggestions about how to end the story? )
   >>>
   >>> haha ok sure...it's ok to post fanfic here? I thought that's what the
   >>> alt.xena.creative group was for but my one story I posted there a few weeks
   >>> ago has not gotten any replies.
   >>>

   >> I don't see why you can't post the story here. If it's really long, a
   chapter every day or every
   >> couple of days should be fine. It's not like there are giong to be throngs
   of critics to piss
   >> and moan about this not being the proper forum!!
   >>
   >>>> I kept hearing all this crap about Xena coming full circle
   >>> when she died. I never
   >>>> understood what that was all about.
   >>>> I thought her journey was all about her trying to find inner peace and

   >>> helpless, right wrongs, etc
   >>>> etc etc.
   >>>
   >>> Well the full circle is true, but not like how they intended. For the full
   >>> circle part was that A: in Sins of the Past, Xena tries to start over by
   >>> burying her armor/weapons just like she did in Friend in Need(that scene in
   >>> the finale chilled me to the bone and I got kinda nauseous because that was
   >>> the moment I realized it was over), and B: there were stupid villagers to
   >>> deal with. In Sins of the Past, we find out that Xena saved
   >>> them(Amphipolis-ians) from Cortese, but they were hardly grateful and
   wanted
   >>> to stone her. In Friend in Need, in the flashbacks, Xena is going to put
   >>> Akemi's ashes to rest when the villagers of ?Higuchi? attack her because
   >>> they only know that Akemi killed her father and for that she must not find
   >>> peace. They apparently didn't know Yodoshi was an evil bastard who killed
   >>> all of her other family. Now how they didn't know that I dunno, but they
   >>> really should have done their homework. And when Xena defends herself, a
   >>> fire gets started that kills 40,000villagers. EXCUSE ME?! There was a
   >>> BLIZZARD going on at the time, and it was a PORT city, meaning there was
   >>> lots of WATER. Not to mention how the hell there could be 40,000people in a
   >>> village?! It'd be a pretty big one, which means it would have taken time
   for
   >>> the fire to spread through the whole village, meaning people would have had
   >>> time to save themselves, especially since there was a mob around to attack
   >>> Xena. So people were obviously awake. Have they never heard of stop, drop,
   >>> and roll? Xena accidentally starts a fire through SELF-DEFENSE and she's
   >>> responsible for their deaths?! It's not like Cirra/Callisto. Well it is in
   >>> the sense that a fire got started somehow that wiped out most of the town,
   >>> but the villagers died because Xena's army was there and people were afraid
   >>> to leave their burning homes.
   >>>
   >>>
   >> As great as the final two eps LOOKED, there was so much of the
   writing that really
   >> sucked. It's almost like it was written as it was being shot and no one
   bothered to actually
   >> think about the logic of some of the scenes.
   >> For example, at the very beginning when Xena finds the messenger from
   Akemi --
   >> Xena: "Akemi? You saw Akemi?"
   >> Kenji: "Several weeks ago. I was journeying with another monk
   through a forest-- near
   >> the town of Higuchi."
   >>
   >> If he saw Akemi 'several weeks ago' he sure can't have been walking
   to get to Greece
   >> that fast. Or been on horseback. He would have had to be flying.
   >>
   >> Personally, I think the ep to follow this one should have been 'Send
   in the Clones.'
   >> Then end the series with "When Fates Collide."
   >>I so totally agree with you but then again, I think I've said that at least
   a dozen times as have
   >>you. As far as I am concerned, there was no excuse for FIN and it was a
   terrible insult to those
   >>of us that watched every episode over and over again and then to have it end
   the way it did? It
   >>didn't even make sense. I remember that last scene where Xena was ready for
   battle.... one that
   >>she knew was going to be a difficult battle and she was dressed in an outfit
   that was the next
   >>thing to a bikini....No armor, no protection of any kind???? She was just
   committing suicide.
   >>TPTB went out of their collective way to hurt the fans as far as I'm
   concerned. And I still
   >>don't know why they thought it was such a great ending... We all deserved
   better.

    From what I read, it was Rob all the way. He loves the J
   panese/Chinese martial arts
   movies. But why he would have Xena die . . . .. Who knows? Maybe he was
   thinking of a Xena movie
   to bring her back somehow.
