   Logical..... but doesn't logic belong with reality and doesn't  fiction   
   suspend reality?  I think sometimes "we" overthink the plots and by so   
   doing, reinvent the intent of the writers.... But then again, that's just my   
   opinion.  Personally, I would prefer to think that Virgil was Joxer's son   
   and the man Joxer always imagined he was himself.  As for Meg being barren,   
   I'm sure it's not the first time a woman was told she was and then had a   
   half dozen kids.  Medical people are not infallible .
