   Hey all....I understand your explanation. I must not caught the scene   
   where Ares met Meg. I'm not sure he ever met her...but who knows. When   
   older Joxer was in that cavern...drinking..he heard the other person   
   selling a scroll. Joxer quickly bought it for 65 denares(or how ever you   
   spell it). So he had a little argument with Meg..and went outside in the   
   barn with his two kids(thinking the boy is Virgil)?..told them the   
   story.
