           During the first airings I was never quite sure if they were going to   
   have Gab and Joxer   
   become an item. I surely hoped not!! And for that reason, I really disliked   
   Joxer most of the time.   
           Now I can watch him and actually like his bumbling ways, and his   
   infatuation with Gabrielle   
   (as we all know the one he married was Meg. So did he really have a big thing   
   for Xena but "fell"   
   for Gab because he felt he had a better chance with her?)
