   It's an obvious allusion to "Adventures in the Skin Trade and Other   
   Stories" by Dylan Thomas, or to the title story respectively (a short   
   story).  Might be worth a read.   
      
   I've always figured that the title refers to the sins committed by Xena   
   and the people she was with at the time, and how she tries to come to   
   terms with that burden by doing good.
