   In fact, I've always thought that the title does not at all refer to   
   Kalliope - since she didn't really play a role in the story except as   
   a flimsy pretext -, but that the two muses really are Xena and   
   Gabrielle. :)   
      
   The title, BTW, is another allusion to classic literature.
