           Gabrielle really didn't have much of a chance. Alti somehow created a   
   clone/replica/twin of   
   Gab without the dagger and Gab never had a chance to fight back (maybe the   
   c/r/t was deliberately   
   made weaker by Alti just so she could safely and easily pummel "Xena's bitch"   
   from a distance.

       I also thought they were over-done. I don't remember who it was, but in   
   the interview clip the   
   photo director or one of them  said they wanted to do something beyond what   
   Xena experienced in   
   AITSinTrade. So they just went out and filmed a bunch of scenes and stuck them   
   together with a few   
   special FX.

           Maybe, since TPTB knew this was going to be her last appearance, they   
   wanted her to be not   
   quite so irritating.  I still liked the look on her face as she was watching   
   the other Amazons   
   doing their dance.   
           And just as an aside, the very next day I was watching  TNT's   
   broadcast of 'Charmed' and   
   Jennifer Sky showed up as one of the witches who took TCO's identities and   
   powers. Jennifer had   
   Piper's.
