   He did try to recruit Callisto in Intimate Stranger.  He worked with   
   her to get them to swap bodies and tried to get Callisto to kill   
   Xena's mom.  Callisto was too crazy to stick to the plan.  He also   
   tried to work with her in Sacrifice but they didn't get along so   
   well.     
      
           Mostly I was wondering why he didn't try to woo and win her like he   
   tried with Xena (and   
   Gabrielle, to a certain extent). He should have had plenty of time when he   
   wasn't running after   
   Xena. You can never have too many warlords doing your bidding.
