From: davideml@bellsouth.net               Wasn't in the mood Saturday night, so I watched it (half of it) Sunday       evening.        I realize there are people who love this kind of movie, but       personally, I find no enjoyment       or entertainment value it them. Basically, I think they're crap.        Renee didn't have a whole lot to do - no real dramatic, or comedic,       scenes. and although is       it was nice to see here in something, her part could have been played by       anyone.        Maybe she just wanted to do something with a particular        ctor/director/producer, or she was       tired of sitting around and wanted to act in something (I'm sure she didn't       need the paycheck).        And this may be a spoiler for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but plans       to, but since she       wasn't one of the central characters, nor the heroine, she died at the end of       the first hour --       electrocuted while standing in water in the basement. I watched a few more       minutes just to see if       she survived, then turned it off.        This reminded me of "Alien Apocalypse" -- nothing for her to so to       really showcase her       talent. At least being the star in 'Monster Ark' she had a lot of screen time       and actually had an       important role.        One thing I happened to notice is that Renee has a bit of a high       forehead. I guess I       never noticed it when she was Gabrielle because she was always wearing bangs.       And when she cut her       hair off, it de-emphasized the length of her face and made it look rounder.        I'm hoping for more when her internet series "Ark" debuts next January.              --       David       http://geocities.com/daviderl31/GabPics.htm       http://geocities.com/daviderl31/ROC.htm              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
