   6-16    Send In the Clones   
      
      
      
   First airing was April 23, 2001,   
      
   The story starts out in modern times. Two cars meet on a foggy night and flash   
   headlights. A woman   
   who looks a lot like Alti gets out of one car. A man with a briefcase gets out   
   of the other. The   
   woman opens the briefcase and takes out a crusted-over Chakram. She then looks   
   a two hairs in a   
   glass jar. She says something about perfectly preserved 2000 year old hair   
   samples. She gives him   
   money and they leave.   
      
             Skeleton Alti and  Xena start to fight in the episode 'Them Bones,   
   Them Bones'. Three   
   people, two women and man are watching clips of the show. A phone is ringing.   
   The man answers then   
   tells the women it's Alexis. She asks if the clips are ready. He says yes. She   
   wants a balanced   
   selection. He wants more Joxer. Alexis says any disagreements will be settled   
   by Leah, who knows a   
   lot about psychological profiling. She asks if Dr. Polly is there. He says   
   yes. Alexis tells them   
   to meet her in 72 hours.   
      
             The three of them enter a lab where Alexis is at a computer. They   
   ask if everything   
   worked. Alexis shows them clones of Xena and long-haired Gabrielle strapped on   
   two tables. Everyone   
   is happy with what they see.   
      
             Alexis says they need to use the clips to bring them to life. She   
   says the hair samples   
   were from the Tomb of the Scrolls. She says the Xena's and Gabrielle's   
   memories and personalities   
   are dormant. They talk about what they want X&G to be downloaded with. Leah   
   wants more X&G   
   relationships. Polly wants them to kick ass. The guy wants more Joxer. Alexis   
   tells Polly to   
   prepare them. She puts electrodes on both their temples..   
      
             Alexis says to start with Polly's disk. There are flashbacks of Xena   
   fighting in   
   'Chakram,' 'Motherhood,' 'Heart of Darkness' and others. There is no response   
   from either of them.   
   Leah says Xena needs a dose of Gabrielle. Alexis says it's enough for the day.   
   They don't want to   
   over stimulate them.   
      
             Polly says she ordered clothes for them from a catalog. Everyone   
   leaves. Later someone   
   comes back in. He/she is wearing gloves. He/she touches Xena's face, then   
   unplugs the electrodes   
   from Gabrielle. He/she puts in a disk labeled Evil Xena and begins downloading   
   into Xena scenes of   
   Xena killing Amazons. Xena twitches. There is a clip of Gabrielle on a cross   
   and Xena saying to   
   break her legs. Xena sneers.   
      
             The next day when Leah and Alexis come in Polly has dressed X&G and   
   Nerd guy has cut   
   Gabrielle's hair. Leah wants classic Gabby. The Nerd guy says someone   
   downloaded something   
   different. They watch it and no one knows how it happened. They are afraid   
   Evil Xena might wake up.   
   Alexis says they now need the Gabrielle clips -- Gabrielle is telling Xena how   
   much she needs her,   
   and Gabrielle with Eli.   
      
             They put back in Polly's disk with Gabrielle killing Romans in the   
   episode 'Ides of   
   March.' Alexis says to show the consequences of Xena's actions. They show the   
   clip of Xena   
   apologizing about the death of Callisto's parents. Xena wakes up and takes the   
   electrodes off. She   
   throws her Chakram, it ricochets around but when she puts it back on its clip,   
   it breaks.   
      
             Xena puts the pinch on Nerd guy and tells everyone to tell her   
   what's going on. Gabrielle   
   wakes up and calls to Xena. Xena demands to know what's going on. Alexis tells   
   her they've been   
   cloned. Gabrielle asks if Ares did it. Alexis says it was a higher power   
   called science. Leah says   
   they did it because they need heroes. X&G are shown clips of riots and war and   
   civil unrest.   
      
             Xena says they're hungry and want food. She is given donuts - sugar   
   and fat.   
      
             While Xena is eating a pizza and Gabrielle is drinking a soda, Polly   
   is thinking that   
   Xena could kick Jackie Chan's, Jet Li's, and Bruce Lee's asses. Nerd guy is   
   thinking that X&G must   
   be horny and he'll be their first 21st century man. Leah thinks she should   
   show them old Ellen   
   reruns.   
      
             While watching Xena and Gabrielle kiss when Gabrielle marries   
   Perdicus, Gabrielle looks   
   uncomfortable, but Xena likes it. When Xena kisses Gabrielle to wake her up in   
   'Return of the   
   Valkyries,' Xena says it's not like she remembered. Gabrielle agrees. Polly   
   and Leah says their   
   real memories are awakening.   
      
             Xena likes the woman playing Xena, and thinks she's sexy. Gabrielle   
   is concerned that   
   they've taken liberties with her scrolls. Xena takes Gabrielle aside and   
   wonders what they should   
   do now. Gabrielle says that they should do some good. Xena says the Greater   
   Good thing doesn't   
   appeal to her. She goes off somewhere. Alexis tells Gabrielle she thinks Evil   
   Xena has been   
   awakened. She takes Gabrielle outside where the police are waiting She tells   
   them Gabrielle broke   
   into the lab. Gabrielle tries to explain she was cloned but isn't believed.   
   When they start to   
   arrest her, she draws her sais, but Alexis reminds her what guns can do and   
   Gabrielle  is arrested.   
      
             The four of them are watching more Xena clips. Xena is sleeping.   
   Nerd guy asks if Joxer   
   was really like that. Xena says mostly but she doesn't remember him being that   
   smart.   
      
             Alexis goes back inside and tells Xena that Gabrielle was taken to   
   jail, and she tell her   
   where it is. But before Xena leaves, Alexis gives her the real Chakram. Xena   
   goes after Gabrielle.   
      
             Leah, Polly and Nerd guy want to know what's going on. As she stands   
   in front of the huge   
   TV screen, Alexis morphs back into Alti as Alti comes up on the screen. She   
   tells them that she hid   
   the scrolls but is upset that the TV show has made Xena a hero, but now her   
   reputation will change.   
      
             On the TV screen a woman reports that Xena has broken Gabrielle out   
   of jail and there is   
   chaos in the streets as Xena has busted heads. Alti herds the three of them   
   out of the lab ahead of   
   her.   
      
             In a car junkyard, Xena is wearing goggles and using a grinder to   
   make a new sword.   
   Gabrielle complains that Xena could have killed someone at the city dungeon.   
   Xena asks if she   
   wanted to rot in there.   
      
             Alit drives up with the other three with her. Xena recognizes her as   
   Alti. Alti starts   
   reminding Xena of the time before Gabrielle came along. Gabrielle keeps   
   telling her not to listen   
   to Alti. Xena remembers being an evil Valkyrie. Alti mentions the times   
   Gabrielle betrayed her.   
   Xena remembers trying to kill Ming Tien, and when Solan was killed, and the   
   Gab-Drag. Xena asks why   
   Alti brought back Gabrielle, and Alti says she's a gift to Xena pushes her   
   toward her.
