|    "My Heart Is Hurting"    |

From: davideml@bellsouth.net               The radio in my car doesn't work so I've been using an mp3 player.       Change the songs every       time I charge it up. Happened to choose the song "My Heart Is Hurting" from       Butter Suite - Xena and       Gabrielle singing to each other in the Hall of Echoes.        A whole different way of experiencing the song. The hurt and then       anger in Xena's voice       came through so much more clearly, and even though Susan Wood's voice was used       for Gabrielle, when       the finger of Dahak's fire started dragging Gabrielle away from Xena, her fear       and anguish was       very evident.        I guess this is how it was when people gathered around the radio       before there was TV.        One little thing I noticed that escaped me before (many times) --       Xena's line, "...this       damaged past can never heal / until this nightmare book is closed."        Obviously, they had nightmares back then, but not books. And even       though it would sound       very awkward, it should be something like -- "...until this nightmare scroll       is rolled back up."       Although I guess it could be "...nightmare scroll is closed."        But even so, it's still a great song.       --       David       http://geocities.com/daviderl31/xena.htm              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
