           I still don't understand why this was necessary. The entire series was   
   about her trying to   
   atone for all her Evil-Xena actions. And despite all the good she had done,   
   and all the people she   
   had helped, and all the wrongs she had righted, there was still so much that   
   needed doing (trying   
   to counteract Ares and his plans for world peace through war, for example).   
           How does being dead accomplish this?
