"Ghost Town - the Movie" -- A Critique

Received the DVD of "Ghost Town" today. Couldn't wait until a later
   day to watch it.

The basic story is that Sheriff Teaster is killed by (?) Burnett and
   five or six of his
men. The son, Harmon Teaster sees it and kills everyone one including
   Burnett's wife. He then goes
up into to mountains and marries a Cherokee woman. 25 years later, Harmon is
   an old man who is
sick. His daughter, Violet, goes into the town to get medicine. When Burnett's
   son, Victor, finds
out, his men grab her and they beat on her pretty bad trying to find out where
   Teaster is; she
won't talk. An Indian friend of Harmon's goes looking for her. He brings her
   back and now Harmon is
out for revenge. They go into town and everyone is scared, mainly because of
   Harmon's reputation
and the stories of the slaughter. There is the final shootout in the street.

Renee, "Little Jack", didn't show up until about 30 minutes into the
   movie. LJ goes into a
saloon to get her drunken father, nicknamed Jackknife, before he shoots
   someone or gets shot. About
ten minutes later Victor calls in his gang to have them search for Violet.
   Little Jack is in the
gang. She was in and out of various scenes and had a few lines toward the end.
   Although she wears a
pistol, her weapon of choice is a rifle.

After Harmon kills a couple of men at night, the final shootout is the
   next day. Victor has
about 6 or 8 guns on his side. Some of the townspeople are tired of Victor's
   ways and back up
Harmon and the sheriff and his deputy. There is a total of maybe 15 people
   involved in the
shootout, but only five or six survive.

The movie started out kind of slow with flashbacks and forwards which was
   kind of confusing.
But after a while things were starting to get interesting as the climax drew
   closer. Some of the
dialog was clichéd and the cuts between the actors talking could have been
   better. There were some
familiar faces, but not familiar enough that there names came to mind.

All in all it wasn't that bad. I would give it a 6.5 or 7 out of 10.
   More Reneé might have
boosted it higher, but I'm not so sure what more she could have done since she
   wasn't one of the
   main characters.

I'll probably watch it again Saturday, and now that I know what's going
   on, I'm sure I will
see things I missed this time around.
