   His ending alienated a significant portion of the fan base, and pissed   
   off a good number of others for whom is was off-putting even if not a   
   slap in the face.  Could he/would he have a movie a subtext laden as   
   the last two season?  If not would there be enough of an audeince for   
   a campy sword and sandle epic?  Doubtul.   
      
   If he made a movie that was a continuation of the ending and ended   
   with Xena dead again would you go to see it, just to see a Xena movie?   
      
   If not, then what's the point of a movie?
