       A couple weeks ago I bought the five season DVD set of Andromeda. so far   
   I am just past the halfway mark of S2. And it's been pretty good. The S1   
   extras weren't so hot, but with S2, each disk has two or 3 eps, plus   
   previews for the shows, bloopers, and behind the scenes with the stars,   
   directors, and (in the case of the new Golden Trance), the hair and makeup   
   women.   
       Kevin (not too long off Hercules) has mentioned Herc and few times in   
   the interviews. Doesn't seem particularly upset that it was cancelled.   
       During the behind the scenes interviews, sometimes they show clips from   
   upcoming episodes (I presume they assume everyone has already seen those eps   
   and so it doesn't matter).  I knew I never watched the whole series, but I   
   didn't even remember the one  where purple and golden Trance met and purple   
   Trance disappeared, with no real explanation of where she went ("Ouroboros"   
   S2 ep 12).   
       Have seen a few familiar faces - James Marsters (Spike on Buffy), Tony   
   Todd (the Lost Mariner on Xena), Sam Sorbo (Kevin's wife and Serena on   
   Hercules), Michael Hurst, the guy who played Q on Star Trek, and Costas   
   Mandylor (Picket Fences).   
           I couldn't find the set at Amazon.com, but I did find it at a site   
   called Phrink. Come to find out, it came from China of all places. One odd   
   thing I noticed, a couple of the episodes were to have commentaries while   
   they were playing, but instead, it was the episode with either Japanese or   
   Chinese dubbed in.
