           Set in the early days of the slave academy, 'S: GofA' -- a   
   six-episode prequel to 'S: Blood and Sand' -- is bigger, lustier and more   
   outrageous than its predecessor. Just ask Lucy Lawless, who plays the   
   conniving Lucretia.   
       Q.  You finally give Xena fans what they begged for 10 years ago - hot   
   lesbian sex!   
       Lucy:    Jaime Murray shows up as Lucretia's old college pal   ({they   
   had colleges back then????})  Gaia, and will goad my character into bed with   
   opium, (Laughs) At first Lucretia's not into it but, once you're high, it's   
   all on, I guess!   
       Q.    You were uneasy doing sex scenes in Season 1. Is it getting any   
   easier for you?   
       Lucy:    Not at all! I still have a flask of Tanqueray by my side.   
       Q.    It seemed Lucretia died during that mass slaughter in the 'Blood'   
   finale, but word is she didn't.   
       Lucy;    She will indeed be back. They shot my "death" scene two ways -   
   lying still or twitching.  They decided to leave me twitching, and I have   
   the fans to thank for that!
