From: daviderl31@yahoo.com              "David" wrote in message news:pptmu7$8tc$1@dont-email.me...               After reading my post on the episode, I decided to watch it again.       Probably been 5 years of since I went through the series. And of course, I       noticed a few things I either missed, or didn't mention.               The first thing I noticed was the sword fight between X&C wasn't as       exciting as as it first seemed to be on previous viewings. They would give       their war cries, and ride toward each other but didn't seem particularly in       a hurry.               Then when Callisto sliced (more like scratched) Xena's upper arm with       her sword, as hard as she swung, it should have cut her arm to the bone.               Next, after Callisto rode away with Xena's Chakram, Xena and       Gabrielle were talking, and in the background Callisto's men were still       fighting the townspeople, and neither Xena nor Gabrielle seemed to care!               The ladder fight between X&C was not very well choreographed.               But I have to say that Gabrielle was just as cute as I remember! A real       sweetie.               I also recall how mellow Xena's voice was for being a seasoned       warrior. Just doesn't sound right.                            David       >       >       >              Got rushed and forgot a couple things --               After Xena used her Chakram to cut the rope suspending Gabrielle and       Callisto ended up holding on the end of it, her guy (Theodorus, as we find       out in a future episode) was going to move the torch but Callisto told him       to let it burn. When it did and she was falling, Xena grabbed the end,       keeping Callisto from falling to her death (or serious injury).               That did not make sense. If Callisto wanted to die, why didn't she just       let go of the rope??               And after that - all of Callisto's men were in chains.        How did THAT happen?        Who brought the chains?        Who captured them, and kept them from running away?        What happened to Joxer?              David              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
