   One day, the kids will be out driving, spending as much time away   
   from you as they can, and the house will be lonely.  You will put   
   on a TV show with your wife, as you had not done for many years.   
   But you will wish the house were noisy and the TV off.

   I am currently teaching my youngest to drive.  I cannot believe   
   how rapidly that empty nest is approaching...

   Summer 2024, that aforementioned youngest son and I would catch   
   an episode on Comet.  And he was interested!  So I pulled my old   
   DVDs off the shelf.   
      
   We finished two seasons that summer.  Summer 2025 was a lot   
   busier for him, with many early morning football practices, so we   
   only got through "Apocrypha".  But he is still loving it, and   
   ready to watch more.   
      
   Oh:  we only watch at night, with the lights off.   
   As it should be :).
