That shows people are still       > interested. I think it will do at least $100 million in North America.              Go read the threads about The X-Files 2 on movie forums. You know, the       sort of forums that average people use, not just hardcore X-Files fans       who own all the shows on DVD.              There's about a 5 page thread on it at the forum at dvdtimes.co.uk,       start there.              ............. and most people said the same things as me - people are       surprised that the thing has been greenlighted so long after the show       was cancelled, and people are saying that the publicists have got their       work set out for them if this movie is going to have any kind of impact       at the box office.                            PS : As for your $100 million thing - the 1998 movie made around $190       million world-wide, I imagine that the sequel will be hard pressed to do       50% of that just in North America, ten years after the show's popularity       was at it's zenith.              Hey - it could happen, that'd be great. But don't count your chickens       before they've hatched.              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
