   Okay, I give up.  What is a DiD ep?   
      
   "Damsel in Distress." That subclass of XF ep wherein Scully gets herself in   
   trouble and requires Mulder to ride in at the last moment to bail her ass   
   out. One which, in the old days, would cause endless gloating and smirking   
   by the Mulderians and Mulderites (two distinct, if memory serves, and   
   warring constituences) and equally endless crying and gnashing of teeth on   
   the part of the Scullyites, Scullyists and Scullyanistas.
