   I don't consider 'Christmas Carol' a mytharc at all. No aliens, no   
   conspiracies, no Syndicate, no genetic experiments. That kind of stuff would   
   come in Part 2, 'Emily', but not until then. 'Christmas Carol' is all about   
   Scully's family, about her love for her sister, about a spiritual connection   
   between the two of them and between Scully and this little girl Emily. I   
   don't see a single thing in it that legitimately qualifies as 'mytharc'.   
   Mytharcs are primarily about plot; 'CC' is primarily about character. It is   
   much more akin to such personally-invested stand-alones as 'Beyond the Sea'   
   or 'Never Again' than to anything in the mytharc.
