   A lot of fans hated season 8 of the X-Files! I  thought it was well   
   done, it was not until season 9 that they really lost it. That was when   
   they started to phone in the episodes, and all the air was let out of   
   the series. The X-FIles would have lasted a lot longer if DD had   
   continued on the show. When he left the X-FIles he took the "soul" of   
   the show with him.
