   20th Century Fox must of thought the movie would have the best chance to   
   have at least a huge opening weekend if they released it in july, but   
   they thought wrong, lol. Carter said from the beginning that this was a   
   small movie and not to expect some action packed summer blockbuster, so   
   the studio was indeed foolish to release the movie in july, let alone   
   the week after The Dark Knight. They should of released it at the end of   
   august or september instead. It probably still wouldn't of taken in say   
   25 million, but it definitely would of had a better chance of making   
   more than 10.
