Happens near the end of the movie, when the writting just seems to fall   
   apart, and the story along with it. It seems like the turning point was   
   right after Mulder crashes his car. That must be when the writers went   
   out to dinner. And that is when we get such memorable lines like Mulder   
   going into the Medical Lab, and saying "Stop what you are doing, and   
   unhook that girl" and he does this without a "Gun". Another line was   
   from Scully when she said to Skinner "I found Mulder outside he needs   
   Fluids, and Dry Clothing". What kind of writing is that? For a minute I   
   thought Skinner was going to say "sure Scully I have a bunch of "Fluids"   
   in my suit coat pocket"! It was almost laughable that the two leads   
   Mulder, and Scully, would say things like that.  So for 20 minutes near   
   the end of the movie the story line was a real mess.   
      
   Another problem was all the CGI snow, it was way over the top, and it   
   got in the way. The snow was falling like crazy, and none of it was   
   sticking to any of the actors.
