]9:47pm (PDT+7) From: rbw1234@mchsi.com       ] (Rick Wimmer)              ]Saw the movie about 2 weeks ago and I was       ] more than thrilled to see Mulder and Scully       ] again. To the casual viewer I was impressed       ] by the story and the visuals but to me it was       ] no better than the best of the tv series.              ]I had some concerns too, maybe there are       ] thing that I missed so I will pose a few       ] questions:              ]1. Is Skinner still Assistant Director of the FBI?              They made it sound like he was now "Director" of the FBI. Maybe that is       why they gave Mulder the deal that they gave him. I think Skinner was       behind it              ]2. What happened to the FBI agent they were       ] looking for?              She was killed, and it was her head in that box the FBI agent opened on       the street.              ]3. What do you think of Mark Snow's score, I       ] don't think that is was as memorable as Fight       ] the Future.              I did not care for it either it was not memorable. The best part of the       Snow score was at the very beginning with the X-FIles intro.              ]I have heard though that the movie has passed       ] the $40 million mark and that should increase       ] with dvd sales and the worldwide market. I will       ] attempt to see the movie at least 2 more times       ] before it goes off the market.              I saw it twice, and that was enough for me. I will wait for the DVD, and       all the "extras". I hope it is a two disc set! ;-)                     http://xfilesmovieinfo.blogspot.com/              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
