   Just like TXF is just a ripoff of a combination of Twin Peaks (serialized   
   supernatural mythology which overstayed its welcome and became convoluted   
   and pretentious; shared actors - Duchovny, Don Davis, etc.) and Miami Vice   
   (the original "high production values" TV show with several episodes   
   featuring occult elements ("Tale Of The Goat", "Shadow In The Dark") plus   
   recurring villains (MV: Calderone and Lombard; TXF: Modell and Tooms) and   
   comic sidekicks (MV: Izzy and Noogie; TXF: Lone Gunmen)).   
      
   Oh, and it's "shows" and "have there been".
