   I could really stir things up by pointing out that these shows, while   
   inspired by X-Files, are not by definition spin-offs.  A spin-off is a   
   show that directly borrows characters from an existing show and starts   
   them in a show of their own.  "The Lone Gunmen" is the only one I know of   
   for X-Files, though "Millenium," it could be argued ENDED on the X-Files.   
   Does that make "Millenium" a "spin-on?"
