   Well, yeah, that's what one of the characters said in the movie. But   
   they never used the cow, at least we never saw them doing anything with   
   it, so why did the scriptwriters add that to the story? That was my   
   question. Just to make the show more "kooky"? Not that it needed any   
   extra kookiness, as I said before.

   I got it that the doctor wasn't a psycho. Overmedicated, maybe, and a   
   little wonky from being shut up for 17 years, but not psycho.   
      
   I didn't catch on to who the villain was right away, despite hints (eg,   
   "I just hope he's worth it"). He just seemed boring to me and I had no   
   interest in his romance with Olivia. It was clear that something would   
   develop between her and the doctor's son.   
      
   One of my favorite lines was when the doctor put his hands together and   
   said, "OK! Let's make some LSD!"   
      
   Speaking of which, Olivia sure seemed to come down from those drugs   
   awfully fast, after being removed from the tank.
