If they spent $10 million on it as they said they did       they really wasted the money. CC could have made 10 'great' episodes of       the X-FIles wiht that kind of money!              ]I'll continue to watch but I think your reference       ] to Alias is dead on. That was a show that was       ] great in concept but lousy in execution. So       ] lousy they even had to do a "restart" a la       ] Dallas. Fringe may be a good concept (I       ] mean, look at what it is based on) but the       ] actors don't seem right for the parts and the       ] writing needs to have more depth.              You are right the actors are not right for the parts. There was not one       actor on the show that I could care about the way I cared about DD, and       GA on the X-FIles. The Fringe actors were boring, and the dialogue was       terrible. Right now I am looking forward to 'The Eleventh Hour'!              --- SoupGate-DOS v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
