   ] *not* one of them. Unless all of a sudden   
   ] 'going Hollywood' means making slow-paced,   
   ] intellectual dramas with no big explosions or   
   ] other 'hooks', packed with subtly shaded   
   ] atmosphere and character development.   
      
   CC went 'All Hollywood' with the entire movie! It was no longer about   
   the X-FIles, just a few old characters from the X-Files, with a bunch of   
   new characters. There was no sense of the old X-Files in the new movie.   
   It was almost as if CC was trying to change the X-Files to appeal to the   
   movie going fans, instead of the X-Files fan base. As we could see this   
   tactic did not work, and the movie did not appeal to the movie going   
   public, or a lot of the old X-FIles fans. So instead of making a   
   'X-FIles' movie, he went all 'Hollywood', and made a 'Frankenstein'   
   movie, and it did not work on any level.
