   I bought the season 4 box set recently (marked down to $34.95!) and I am   
   watching the episodes one or two a night, after work....   
      
   So far, I have noticed two interesting guest stars who came to prominence   
   after 1995 -   
      
   Jack Black in DPO   
   Jewel Staite as Amy Jacobson in Oubliette. She was -very- young in this   
   episode - approximately 13. Making her current casting as a senior medical   
   doctor in a top secret military expedition slightly....unrealistic?   
      
   I am surprised how dated XF  feels at times since I remember some episodes   
   very clearly from the original airing (and the numerous times I watched   
   them).   
   Giant cell phones, Scully's 90's suits, the cars..no Google! Pre-911..the   
   portrait of Bill Clinton in Skinner's office.... I can't believe it has been   
   what...13 years since these were made?   
      
   In many cases the old magic remains; Clive Bruckman's Final Repose was much,   
   much better than I remembered it; mainly because I'm an adult now and I get   
   more of the humour than I did at the time - I was only about 15 or 16 when   
   the season aired.   
      
   Coming up I have Jose Chung's From Outer Space and Syzygy.... I skipped over   
   <2SHY> ...thought it would be the most dated of all  because it deals with   
   the internet ... but I will get to it.   
      
   I am beginning to see why Hunter enjoyed watching the repeats so much!
