XPost: alt.astronomy, nl.wetenschap       From: Windows7IsOK@DreamPC2006.com              Yeah this could be an explanation of what I saw, the pictures on the       websites are a little bit misleading, because it does not appear as a line       or streak... but that's because of the 60 seconds camera exposure.              The animations are a better example, except the dot I saw didn't move,       explanation below.              It's a dot that becomes a bit brighter and then fades away.              It was stationary and did not seem to move.              Thus my hypothesis is that it was a "stationary" satellite that happened to       be in such a position that the sun's light reflected on it's solar panels or       whatever and it reflected towards me.              Let's suppose that it's indeed a satellite flare then I would feel slightly       frustrated about that ! ;) :)              Because this makes it even harder to spot that ufo that might come one day !       LOL ;) =D              Thanks for taking it seriously though... I did see something... and this is       best explanation I have seen so far ;)              Bye,        Skybuck.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
