Air Crash With Plane And UFO Is 'Only A Matter Of Time', Claims Politician
     brudirect, 14 Aug 2022 07:09Z
Tim Burchett said a crash was 'only a matter of time' ...

But we have to probably understand what they're talking about is
   "acknowledgement" rather than "happening".

Looking at UFO and air-crash per capita across US states since the data
began in the 70s sees this pattern:

States like: #UFOsightings	air crash Model
per mn cap	per mn cap
   Texas 139.138 1.09214 -0.931167
   Louisiana 162.287 4.06789 -0.00450189
   Mississippi 175.783 3.34187 0.535749
   Alabama 192.158 2.32627 1.19125
   Virginia 215.338 1.54621 2.11915
   Tennessee 233.777 1.21207 2.85728
   Iowa 255.565 2.35847 3.72946
   Massachusetts 270.127 2.13314 4.31238
   Wisconsin 285.096 1.38372 4.9116
   South.Dakota 310.946 2.39391 5.94639
   Hawaii 335.63 13.1523 6.9345

   Rhode.Island 421.283 4.73351 10.3632
   Wyoming 440.193 8.53087 11.1202
   Arizona 462.064 3.80781 11.9957
   New.Mexico 540.979 10.0714 15.1547
   Oregon 571.113 2.73022 16.361
   Alaska 588.055 113.318 17.0392**(model 2sd under
   actual)
   New.Hampshire 604.594 3.92817 17.7012
   Maine 618.358 5.26582 18.2522
   Montana 664.118 8.71292 20.084
   Vermont 726.788 7.98668 22.5927

   The linear model is this:
   y = 0.0400305*x + -6.50092
x==num of UFO sightings per mn cap
y==number of air crashes per mn cap
   beta in 0.0400305 +- 0.0447643
   T-test: P(beta>0.000000) = 0.930548
Rank test: calculated Spearman corr = 0.652174
   	Critical value = 0.485000 2-sided at 1%; reject H0:not_connected
   r2 = 0.09680384

Interesting that Alaska is a 2 sigma outlier. None of the other states
are. Just as if air crashes "for some reason" are very much higher
than we would normally expect in Alaska. I'm sure there is a totally
"rational" explanation. But eventually the evidence builds up and
scientists have to surrender to the truth that's been there all along.

If you want to narrow suspects down to types you can run the same
procedure for the dozens of different of UFO "types" (i.e. shapes,
colors, time-of-day seen, location, whether they are interacting with
other traditional aircraft incl fighter jets) and learn who to mostly
avoid. If you're an airline pilot.

But the stats seems to suggest 4% of aircraft/UFO encounters end in a
crash. Not usually of the UFO. And the R2 says about 10% of
state-to-state variation in air crashes per capita is tracking just
the state by state UFO sightings data.

We can see the beauty part of making it hard to report these things by
firing pilots that "see things" for mental incompetence or drinking on
the job. You can calculate how many people died because of this
policy. Don't worry. No-one can be held liable for letting this
   situation slide for 70+ years.
