Yes. Such experience might be a model of "life on earth".
There is some idea that earth is a "zoo" or "prison" and we
are the rare animals/criminals and the odd things in the sky are
   the wildlife rangers/guards.

And life much about "the phenomenon" there is just a hint of real
data and patterns in the numbers so you can not just dismiss
   the idea as impossible.

We know earth is "very late". Around 10 billion years ago most of
the G-type stars like our sun had been born and died.
Between the time "most likely to be alive" around a G-type star
and now there is 71% of the age of the universe. If like if the
universe is 70 years old now, by age 15 you had made most of the
money you made in your life. A very very odd situation!

So the star our sun is not "average". Our time now is not a typical
   point in time.

Our solar system is strange. We know of 1000s of solar systems now
and a solar system with some little planets and some big ice planets
is totally weird! A lot of solar systems have a few planets all the same
size. Or a few planets close to the star. Nothing much like our solar
   system.

Same goes for our planet. While there is some problem seeing a planet
as small as earth using the methods and instrumets we have used in the
past 10-20 y, we do know of many similar planets to earth. But it is
   a totall weird planet!

Then there is us. OK I will place myself in the list of humans.
Why not? Doctors can not prove I am not human no matter how much
   they tried. :)

There is us. We live on the surface of a planet. We have an ocean
on the surface of the planet. A big ocean. Yet we know there are possibly
10 or more moons in our solar system that have a subterranean ocean.
Several of these oceans are much larger than the earth's ocean by
e.g. 10x. Some of these oceans are suspected to be warm. Some are
   suspected to be salty.

So we might suspect if there is life on these moons then "most" of
the planets in our solar system have an underground ocean and life.
We are the odd one out, living on the surface.

It may be we are so so late, odd, rare we and our whole planet are
off limits because it is a museum. And the many types of UFO's, poltergeists,
lake monsters, big hairy men that tend to disappear, and odd
creatures seen wandering around L.A. are here on holiday and sometimes to
train a vet students and do some humane surgery on one of the exhibits
   as a learning experience.

Some of the local yahoos sometimes come in and try to mess the place up,
shoot an animal, set fire to their homes, drive their SUV's through
a rookery or whatever, and the rangers have to chase them off, shoot
them dead, or drag them off to alien prison and get turned into useful
computer chips to pay off their debt to the universe for the next
   trillion years.

   It can all hang together.

Nut the simple prospect of something like that being true and known
by the animals would probably see them all waste away and die.
Vets call that "fading kitten syndrome". Sometimes a kitten looks like
it SHOULD thrive and drink it's mommy milk but it ends up wasting away
until it is dead for no reason because is upset.

So the rich and famous would not like that because it would be a big loss
in social status and overall money loser.

But if it is trie you have to think we would have a right to know
and be able to just grow up and face the way the world is, not
the drug-addled dream it seems to be.

Even if the universe turns out to be a simulation and we are all
just subroutines, there is no point to drop your bundle or freak out.
Be the best subroutine you can be and give the maintenance programmers
a nice surprise for a change.
