From: skybuckflying@gmail.com              I find the mouse to be very cute, not sure if male or female, doesn't matter       much to me. I suspect female but not sure, could also be male, he/she is very       brave and very intelligent and can climb very good apperently and I have seen       it in action. Very        playfull mouse =D              The mouse was too intelligent for the mouse trap ! ;) Perhaps I did not set it       up correctly the first time, then again, even the first time it might have       worked, I hard a slap, but somehow he escaped. Perhaps this mouse learned to       trigger the mouse trap        before eating the stuff inside.              Don't worry it's not a mouse trap to kill him, his face was way to cute for       that when I first saw him, then I thought probably male apperently.               It's a metal tunnel of wire and such... but I saw him and he is very weary...       so very funny how this mouse outsmarts human mouse trap. I borrowered it from       my half-sister.              I may have to purchase a more advanced/better one possibly one of plastic and       one which is much bigger, longer and more complex ! ;) =D              I invested their life span, not too long, 18 months usually, max 3 years or so.              He did make a huge message out of the balkony, enormous ammounts of mouse shit       and he tore up pizza boxes and some garbage bags, I cleaned that up todays,       poor some water of it, not yet entirely clean, need to poor some more water       later, but most of it        gone. I could smell the mouse shit pretty well when it was messy. Even if a       few turds lie here and there it's still smelleably I think... I find it kinda       funny/cute where he takes a shit, hard little things, like little chocolate       bars. Thankfully they        not sticky or wetty. Easy to pick up and dispose off... I can see where he has       been lol. I don't want him near my old Dream PC though, then I am going to get       a little bit pissed. I played a little bit of "kiekeboe" around the PC and I       scared him a bit !        That was good. I got back at him.              Cause earlier he scared me a few times. Came up to my foot and touched my foot       ! LOL and then he scrammed/fled. He like sneaking up to me, he is very good at       that, quite funny.              He also came towards me from the side, but I was a bit in darkness and I       yelled like crazy cause he scared me a lot and I didn't want him to teach me,       guess I think he is smelly and behind the kitchen sink where there is now his       new home.              He is quite neat for a mouse, he is well behaving mostly. He did eat a little       bit of paper from a pizza delivery ticket, which I spilled some garlock sauce       on... I was surprised he liked the paper with garlock sauce on it ! LOL.              I put some water for him down as well, but apperently according to wikipedia       they can survive without water as long as their food contains 15% of water.       Amazing and this explains a lot.              The main problem is, I can't really use my kitchen as long as he is there,       because then I am scared that he is going to shit under my microwave or fridge       or maybe even try and crawl inside or start chewing on cables but so far he       seemed to be well        behaved ! Amazing. There is some wall paper, tiny little bits where he likes       to crawl onto a kitchen table where my furnace/stove or whatever the english       name for it is, the pits with fire.... but it's sealed no biggy, he did crawl       into there though, on        the back, that might be a little bit dangerous.              I also saw him run across my floor, very cut I hope to film him on camera, but       he is a bit camera and noise and movement shy ! LOL.              I can see him run over the pipedrain towards the sewer/toilet you could say,       kinda funny, I can also hear him jump down on there.              I can also hear him if he touches glass bottles but I through those away or if       he is on the metal hull of the furnace/fire pits, quite funny.              The most funny part is his sneak up abilities, those absolutely amazing ! LOL.       Sometimes I can hear him a little bit.              I like him very much, I am thinking of keeping him, but I fear otherwise like       my mother might not understand until she maybe sees him better on movie/video.              I already know I am going to miss him =D              I also wonder if he is maybe the reincarnate of my father or something but       probably not, then again ya never know ! LOL.              I also wondered if maybe Aliens depositted him to teach me how cute certain       animals can be and try and get along with them.              Through his movements he is trying to communicate with me, that I can tell. He       wants some contact with me and slowly wants me to get used to him and vice       versa.              I can imagine that this mouse went through hell on the balkony eating through       those bags and pizza boxes and now he is very happy that he is comfortable       inside.              I also learned something amazing on wikipedia, apperently these home-mouses       can sign at ultra high frequencies beyond human hearing to sign to their       females.              Apperently there is also some logic behind it. So this I like... I feel like       this is a logical thinking creature a little bit like a tiny little       programmer, a smart/intelligent creator.              At least this specimen deserves a much better fate than death by scary mouse       trap ! =D I wish other people would take the time to learn to know their       mouses a little bit better than just killing them. My half-sister claims to       have captured 10 mouses        outside of her home in the backyard and then she releases them onto a field       much further away, but without their family these young mouses won't survive       that long, so this is not so good... but she don't want to have the mouse       shit in her backyard, she        does have a rabbit though.              I wonder if there is maybe a better solution, wikipedia seems to hint at       putting down some strategically placed oil mint oder or something, I will try       and tell her this...              This/my mouse so far has intelligently enough extracted the food from the       mouse trap without getting caught. I will continue to try and trap it.              At least I don't have to feel bad for me trying to starve him (not to death,       but just so he eats from mouse trap) or maybe becomes weakened so he comes to       me maybe then I can catch him, but it doesn't feel quite right.              Not feeding the mouse might also back-fire, he might start chewing on cables,       paper and other things.              So for people worried about electronics, cables, paper, etc my advice would be       to: feed the mouse a little bit, at least he don't chew through cables then       and such.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
