   Maybe a lucky break for the people trying to keep a lid on things. Will play   
   nice into the on-going disinformation campaign.   
      
   There is also news today another object that does not seem to be a weather   
   balloon or normal aircraft has been shot down by 2 fighters nr Alaska Fri.   
      
   Speculation is rife it marks a change in US policy toward unidentified objects.   
      
   I've prevously posted the numbers that show some types of UFO are worried   
   about concetrations of military bases and sightings increase away from states   
   with large numbers of AFB's. The type of the curve shows what the relevant   
   UFO's are worried about --    
   area patrols, intercept, or A2G missiles.   
      
   Where I am we regularly see small aircraft chase after lights moving around   
   the sky. It see,s to have an effect -- the number of lights tends to drop off   
   after a day where multiple light aircraft chased multiple lights.   
      
   Last night was a stunner. After a couple days of overcast or zero action when   
   you could see the sky at night we had multiple lights go over -- a couple of   
   them Sirius-bright -- and 3-4 times small aircraft would appear on parallel   
   courses armed with    
   arrays of flashing lights that seem to be some kind of unofficial signal to   
   keep the "heck away from our airspace".   
      
   The news reports say this "small airplane" patrol has been going since at   
   least the 60s in Australia. Not only less obvious than jet fighters trailing   
   after things like you see in vids from the US and even Italy, but a damn sight   
   less spensive!
