And I might as well add this.
I was talking to someone on one of these UFO groups about "contacting" little
   lights in the sky.
I dont know if that was you.
At the time I tried to caution anyone about assuming "whoever" or "whatever"
is friendly and is safe to attract the attention of.
In the past I had an incident where I just waved at something passing overhead
(early hrs of morning in my front yard) and it seemed to descend, turn back
   and start to approach.
I chickened out and ducked behind a big tree in my yard and it either couldnt
see me or maybe was never intending
to come back to my location anyway. Hard to tell which.
But the incident warned me not to muck around.
   HOWEVER.
What with the almost daily parade of lights going over the place (it's got a
LOT less now the airport is open again after moths of COVID lockdowns last
couple ys) I decide to take
a chance and took an old diver's torch out with me a couple evenings.
It's not military grade. But it is pretty bright.
I was sitting in my chair waiting for something to happen and
sure enough a light came from behind me, right over the top, and headed N
toward Orion. They like to hang around there at the moment.
I flashed my torch at it. Once.
As on several other occasions there seemed to be 0 recation.
Then it brightened. It brightened. I got brighter than I have ever seen one
get before. Bright purple with a black center. Almost eye-burning little blob
of light almost directly over me. And then it dimemd back down again and kept
   on going.
So, again, I have taken this as a warning that
I dont know what I'm dealing with here.
But I dont think it's a Chinese balloon or some American pilot flying out of
NV in a homebrew flying saucer.
