   No. This is not a joke. After ignoring the issue for 70y NASA will    
   attempt to summarize its study over the last 9m (I think it is)    
   of UFO evdience.   
   I think we can expect "just a PR exercises" and  nothing remotely interesting    
   will be presented. AFAIK nothing has come of in the press about the prev   
   months of work from any of the well-credentialled members of the group. As far   
   as I know it doesnt    
   have a web page either.   
      
   As a quasi branch of the US military NASA work comes under   
   the control of various intel organisations.   
   No matter how independent their management claims to be   
   they can not publish anything that may fall foul of national   
   security considerations.   
   Underlining this I've prev looked at some of NASA's public   
   databases that "might show interesting things".   
      
   While there seems to be some material "accidentally" available it seems   
   the most interesting (as predicted by some AI)  has the footprints pf national   
   security vetting.   
   Some data I've found to be blacked out -- i.e. data files full of "0" --   
   and others that should be available on websites are just MIA.   
      
   There is a statistically strong pattern in some data that suggest   
   for the 24 hrs  before a day where the NUFORC finds a hike in UFO sightings   
   there is a similar downward spike in the amount of data available in   
   relevant NASA-run databases. It's as though some droid went through   
    and deleted anything that even "might" show something related to what   
   was reported the next day by people on the ground.

   The US government portrays itself as the world's preeminent   
   superpower, so to acknowledge that there are things in their   
   airspace, whatever they are, that are faster and more manoeuvrable   
   and run rings around fast jets doesn't play very well.   
   So there's the embarrassment factor, and maybe a little bit of   
   fear that either an adversary has made a quantum leap in   
   development, which has left the US in a poor second place, or, as   
   some believe, this really is extra terrestrial, in which case we're   
   not at the top of the food chain anymore.
