   I didn't catch the conference but from the scanty press coverage it seems to   
   have been a   
   "please give us more data" exercise.   
      
   Look. I'm not an unfeeling bastard but I think we have to conclude that given   
   70y no answer traditional science is not really fit for purpose outside the   
   areas closley alligned with solving geometry theorems.   
      
   Hence (I presume) Garry Nolan. Medical training involves solving problems from   
   noisy data and noisy rules under time and other pressure and doing the best   
   job you can because something important relies on you getting some kind of   
   answer even if its not    
   perfect and everyone else will agree with it.
