     We will never know exactly what private pilot Kenneth A. Arnold saw 75 years   
     ago while flying past Mt. Rainier on June 24, 1947.   
      
   TODAY:   
     Hundreds of people spot 'flying saucers' in the space of several weeks

     flying objects over the skies of Washington state on June 24, 1947.   
      
      
   MY BACK YARD (1 HR AGO):   
      
     UFO DIARY Sat Jun 24 18:27:36 EST 2023:   
      
     Back from ~60 mins in conc area. Saw maybe a doz obj and maybe 6 flashy   
     aircraft.   
     Started before sun fully down with bright light overhead. Looked up   
     and it was just ambling around slowly up there. Headed off W slowly   
     and disappeared after few sec.   
     A couple more dimmer lights came from N overhead going S and blanked out.   
     One came from SE kinda overhead to N.   
     And a couple came from E slowly and went to N.   
     At one point flashy aircraft came from E very very high.  Seemed to be   
     jet. Moving slowly kinda overhead and then turned to SW -- typical track.   
     At same time noticed very dim slow mover coming from SW going right to left   
     low in sky and veered off to SE. Then a matter of sec later another one   
     similar higher in sky. Very hard to see -- dark blue on dark blue. :)   
     After maybe 1 min a heavy chopper came high from SE higher over to E, at   
     same time one then two flashy aircraft came fast and low from NE behind trees   
     toward S.   
     After that may have been 1-2-3 other dim lights high overhead going   
     various dirs.   
     Gave them all a wave and wished them well. Starting to think the planes   
     are the "bad guys" trying to shoo them off and generally hide it all   
     from the public.   
     One Eye turned up about 1/2 way through sess and was begging for food.   
     I got cold around 6.30 and feet are kinda frozen in flip-flops so headed back   
     inside.  OE jumped in front of me through back door and I ended up giving her   
     some tinned mack I was otherwise saving for what would have been small and   
     now much smaller breakfast.

   and provides a generally uniting issue for nations of the world to   
   re-assess their priorities.
